Trailblazers have an established group of experienced staff, P.A.C.E trained, working 365 days per year and 24 hours per day and who are available to attend Police Stations and Courts when necessary.
We can assist Youth Offending Teams by offering a range of reliable outreach support packages for young people facing court proceedings, including access to emergency accommodation, which can be ‘spot purchased’ at any time if required. We can support any young person aged 16+ who is at risk of being refused bail and being remanded to local authority accommodation or to secure facilities. Our Bail Support Package is designed to avoid such remands by offering the constructive alternative of -based provision. We undertake to:
• Help young people to comply with the directions of the Court, avoid offending during the remand period and attend Court when required to do so
• Support young people in their own communities by encouraging the full use of existing appropriate local services
• Avoid the harmful effects of custody or secure accommodation for vulnerable young people and develop supportive accommodation facilities if they are unable to remain at home
• Act as Appropriate Adult
• Provide accommodation with curfew monitoring
• Liaise with Law-enforcement Agencies and Youth Offending Teams
